The Estancia
This property represents the most traditional style of Argentina's XIXth century estancias. Originally built as a frontier fort, it was the head of a bigger property. Actually the total area is 820 acres (330 hectares).
The house is surrounded by trees, meadows and lagoons. It is a quiet setting, a perfect place to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. It comprises all the necessary amenities for a truly argentine countryside experience, including horse riding, swimming pool, barbeque and the warmth of real firewood.
The Farmhouse
The main house was built around 1890, restored and refurbished in the 1990's including complete hardwood flooring, wooden ceiling and roof, central heating, and 4 fireplaces. It has a total of 370 m2, including 4 bedrooms, 2 of them with fireplace, 3 bathrooms, living room and winter gallery with fireplace, surrounded by beautiful camellias, and summer gallery at the front, facing the swimming-pool.
Between the main house and the 60 m2 swimming-pool, there is a modern annexed 80 m2 house with dining room with fireplace, kitchen, barbeque and W.C.
Ranch headquarters contain horse facilities, barn, corral, and garages. Separate home for housekeeper.
The Park
The 40 acre parkland and gardens surrounding the farmhouse were designed over 100 years ago.
Both main and back entrances are made by long and haunting tree avenues of casuarinas leading to the main house.
The park includes old palm trees, magnolias, pines, oaks, liquidambar, blue cedar, cypress, nut trees, araucarias, ombú and more.
The Lagoons
The estancia has several lagoons which are part of the original landscape, one of them, called “El Espejo” is featured in old history books.
You can enjoy unforgettable sunsets at the lagoon, while watching its remarkable wildlife, which hosts pink flamingoes, black-necked swans, ducks and others depending on the season.
Location
The farm is located west from Buenos Aires, in the Polo influence area Cañuelas / Lobos / Saladillo / Monte.
Some of the best Polo Clubs in Argentina are hosted in the area, and top players play during the polo season.
The farm is located in the hearth of the Argentine Pampas, province of Buenos Aires, 90 minutes driving from Capital Federal, 1 hour from international airport Ezeiza.
