Christie's Great Estates Strengthens Presence in Atlanta, Georgia, with Harry Norman, Realtors
Two Dominant Brokerages Merge to Create Newest Affiliate in the World’s Largest International Network of Luxury Real Estate Specialists
New York, New York—Christie’s Great Estates announces that Harry Norman, Realtors, of Atlanta, Georgia, the area’s oldest and largest brokerage firm, has been awarded exclusive affiliate status. Harry Norman, Realtors recently joined forces with Jenny Pruitt & Associates, Realtors, a Christie’s Great Estates affiliate since 1998. Retaining the name of Harry Norman, Realtors, the combination of these two longstanding and venerable brands creates a powerhouse in the Atlanta marketplace, with more than 1,300 real estate professionals and the largest volume of sold market share in the region.
Wholly owned by Christie’s, the world’s leading art business, Christie’s Great Estates is represented in more than 40 countries. Affiliates in luxury enclaves of Italy, Canada, Mexico, and North America have also been invited to the network this year. Harry Norman, Realtors joins this carefully selected organization of brokerages with proven records of success in both high-end property sales and exemplary client service.
“Transitioning the affiliation to Harry Norman, Realtors will be seamless,” says Kay Coughlin, President & CEO of Christie’s Great Estates. “Harry Norman, Realtors and Jenny Pruitt & Associates share the highest standards of professionalism and strong core values of exceptional client service. The consolidated new company will be a tremendous addition to our international network.”
“Our combined companies—and across-the-board-talent—have unprecedented strength and breadth to serve the residential real estate market in greater Atlanta and beyond,” said Dan Parmer, CEO of Harry Norman, Realtors. Martha Hayhurst, the company’s president, adds, “With the alliance of these two companies and our new affiliation with Christie’s Great Estates, we are poised to become the leading international luxury real estate organization in Atlanta.”
“Harry Norman, Realtors has embraced the Christie’s Great Estates affiliation as enthusiastically as Jenny Pruitt & Associates has these past years,” says Rick Moeser, Christie’s Great Estates Vice President. “Now the company’s 1,300 sales associates will have the capability to serve Atlanta with the programs and services that have successfully sold fine real estate around the world for more than 20 years.”
