New York, New York- Christie’s Great Estates announced that Allende Properties of San Miguel de Allende has been awarded exclusive affiliate status for San Miguel de Allende, as well as for the neighboring city of Queretaro. Continuing its dominance in the international market, the world’s leading luxury real estate network now includes five brokerages throughout Mexico.
Wholly owned by Christie’s, the world’s leading art business, Christie’s Great Estates is represented in more than 40 countries. Affiliates in luxury enclaves in Italy, Canada, and North America have also been invited to the network this year. Allende Properties joins this carefully selected organization of brokerages with proven records of success in both high-end property sales and exemplary client service.
"We are honored to be affiliated with Christie’s Great Estates," says Joanie Barcal, owner of Allende Properties. “The benefit of this relationship to our clients is the exclusive and valuable set of marketing tools that both Christie’s and Christie’s Great Estates add to our suite of real estate investment services."
“I am thrilled to welcome Allende Properties as our newest Mexican affiliate,” says Rick Moeser, Christie’s Great Estates Vice President of the Southeast Region, Caribbean, and Latin America. “They are a wonderful addition to our ever-expanding international affiliate network.”
Allende Properties is located in the historic community of San Miguel de Allende, in the eastern sector of Guanajuato in Mexico’s mountainous bajío region. Dating back to the 16th century, this picturesque town perfectly blends Colonial Mexican charm with modern amenities. San Miguel de Allende’s charming cobblestone streets and colonial architecture have inspired generations of artists, and the town continues to be one of Mexico’s most popular second home destinations.
